I've been using some tutorials by the creator of Emma The Online Comic on Flow, Dynamic poses and Perspective. For those of you who don't know, I have ALWAYS had trouble with those three things. To the point where 90% of my art is static poses, which always made me really mad at myself. You know what though? These tutorials might be long but they sure as hell are working for me. I like following along with Kienan and listening to his thoughts on the drawings he does. I can really see these tutorials helping me so much, where others couldn't.

So I've been working on this whole phoenix drawing. I've been having so much fun just dedicating myself to one project instead of doing what I always do and putting it aside for another one that I never end up finishing. Quite proud of myself really. :)

So I'm spending an extended period of time over the next few days refining a drawing I did of my girlfriend and me as simple cartoons. Sketched it up in PS Elements, threw it to Flash CS4 then exported it back to Elements for some colour and shading. Haven't done the Shading yet but you can check out the Crisp-ish Lineart and colour in my recent uploads. I'll upload the close to finished image later on tonight most likely.
